After 9 days of continuous basketball in the 2011 Jones Cup in Taipei...our national team emerged 3rd place and I'm very proud of them. They played against lots of strong teams! They really played hard...we saw how they fared against other international teams and this paved the way for other nations to keep their guard up against our team.
From the experience they gained I truly believe this will help them in the Olympic qualifiers next month. This is just a stepping stone. They'll be able to win when it will really matter.
Lots of injuries within the tournament...hope everybody will have a nice long rest to heal.
