Smart Ultimate All Star Weekend

I'm sure you guys remember the Smart Gilas vs NBA All Stars game last July and our captain's "kilig" blog entry about his experience playing against NBA Stars.

Well here is an ad about the game...well it was published after the game. Our captain is so small in this group picture, nevertheless I always keep anything with Chris Tiu on it. Hihi! So I'll share as well.

Chris Tiu at Wrangler's "My Fit. My Edge." Fashion Show

This was during the Philippine Fashion Week at MoA featuring Wrangler.

It was clear that he was there, but we don't know if he walked on the catwalk again like in the Adidas event in Singapore. Teehee! So far from what we can see he was there with other known personalities. :)

Congratulations Smart Gilas!

After 9 days of continuous basketball in the 2011 Jones Cup in Taipei...our national team emerged 3rd place and I'm very proud of them. They played against lots of strong teams! They really played hard...we saw how they fared against other international teams and this paved the way for other nations to keep their guard up against our team.

From the experience they gained I truly believe this will help them in the Olympic qualifiers next month. This is just a stepping stone. They'll be able to win when it will really matter.

Lots of injuries within the tournament...hope everybody will have a nice long rest to heal.

Go Gilas!

Smart Gilas is in the Semis of Jones Cup 2011!

Yehey! Yehey! Yehey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our very own Smart Gilas will be in the semis and they are up against Iran tom (or rather later)...yes...Iran! The team they have beaten in their very first game of this tournament.

It may not be easy as before but I believe with all the experience they have gained I'm sure our team will be able to handle it. GO GILAS! Let's all watch and pray together!

I'm just glad they have survived the game against Japan. It almost gave me a heart attack!!!!!! I'm sure all the fans were worried also. I'm happy our captain seems fine now!

They're stronger now...even the ESPN commentator acknowledged that. They can WIN this!!!!!!

GO GO GO GILAS!!!!!!

Chris Tiu is one of Yes! Magazine's 100 Most Beautiful Stars of 2011!

Of course he should be in this list and for more years to come! Wish they did a new photo shoot of him though since this picture is from Men's Health. But anyway I super love this picture of him!

I was supposed to post the scanned version of the article...but I believe it's best to wait for a while before I do that. Hope you guys buy it too! ^^
