Since the start of my trip abroad I've been hearing this song two times already on the radio and I don't get to tune on the radio that much. How nice! I suddenly remember this commercial every time I hear it. :)

Chris Tiu's Very First Commercial!

WOW!!!!! As in WOOOOOOWWWWWW!!!!! After 8 years (yeah I think it's 8 or 9?, when he was a rookie or sophomore? I think it was around 2004!), I finally saw this video again!!!!!! Thanks to Master Philippines for uploading it on Youtube!
This was his very first commercial (and endorsement? I dunno if this was first or Eiko) and I knew when I first saw it his fans would grow more and more, because I was already his fan even before this endorsement. So it had! From that day on, Chris already garnered numerous endorsements and commercials...and thousands of fans!!! He already has 20 endorsements, as he said to Ms. Beth Celis of the Philippine Daily Inquirer (In the Huddle column, July 29 2012 issue). As I have said over and over again, he already dominated every...as in EVERY aspect of our lives and I am not complaining. Haha!
I remembered I was able to record this commercial on VHS, yeah VHS!!!! There weren't any dvd recorders, decent digicams or cameraphones during that time if I remember correctly. So I always rewinded my VHS tape to this commercial and watch the commercial over and over again. Haha! The time came when VHS tapes aren't the fad anymore (and tend to get moldy if not used huhu) so I wasn't able to watch it for years and I dunno where that particular tape went. :(
I also remembered a time when I was listening to Halikinu Radio (yes, I listened to it, for more Chris Tiu updates...hihi) and Mr. Mico Halili said (yeah I think it was him) that when this commercial was also seen inside Araneta during UAAP commercial breaks, the crowd went bananas. Hahaha! Well that's still true until today. Whenever he's at Araneta or MoA Arena...just flash his face on the screen and the UAAP crowd will go wild! Hihihi!!!

Just saw this now! Been hibernating from the net. LOL I always get left behind when it comes to Chris' TVCs. LOL To think my mom and I just ate at Greenwich a while ago! I saw their new poster for BIGATIN but I feel so stupid for not taking a pic of it. We sat far from it and there were so many people near it. Huhu! It looked like this with a different angle pose:

I remember having second thoughts if the guy on the left was Tim Yap. LOL My mom said it didn't look like him. And in the end it was him. LOL Next time...I will have to minimize having second thoughts again, especially not taking a pic of the poster. Huhu! Maybe I'll just eat there again. Hehe!

Fast forward to July 26, 2010. I went back to Greenwich and ordered a pizza for take-out. Hihi! Okay I just took a pic of it. I thought Chris had a different pose. I thought I saw him in a sideview pose before. Maybe I was just fooled by my eyes. I just didn't take a close-up because the light was reflecting so much on it, some crew keep going in and out of the right door and I was shy again. LOL I was kind of paranoid because I thought they saw me as a spy. Hihi!

Chris for MILO

The article was too big and I had problems on how to fold it for scanning. It can even pass as a poster already! Hihi! Maybe I should frame it then, right? LOL

But I was amazed on how this feature was presented. The mosaic effect on Chris was so great! I really love how MILO does their ads. So unique! ^_^









I was also able to buy my own MILO pack with Chris on the wrapper. Hihi! I will try to buy the bigger packs after I finish all the sachets. Hihi!






This is my most fave MILO commercial! It is so GRAND! Their ads and TVCs are improving as time goes by!

Chris and Camille for Alo Youth

I haven't tried this yet! Kind of hard to find in supermarkets. Or maybe only in our supermarket. LOL. Looks similar to those large Korean Aloe Vera drinks I usually see in supermarkets. Hmmm...haven't tried any kind of aloe drink before...so when I see this I will make sure I buy one and try it!

Ako Mismo

I haven't posted anything substantial about Chris lately. I still have lots to share regarding past articles about him that I have. But since I want to come back on blogging about him, I'll go and share his latest advocacy for the AKO MISMO movement.

When I saw the commercial (which was tipped by my mom), I wanted to shriek out of excitement (but my dad was there too, so behave) since he has a new TVC! And it shows other big personalities from different fields. I told my mom "ibang level na talaga siya!". And I would definitely have a problem trying to reach him now.

But we shouldn't fret, we could take part on this movement too. Just go to www.akomismo.org and register! I thought it was someting to do with the future elections, but it is somthing all of us could take part in. Register and show your commitment to our nation, just like Chris!

The funny thing is, some people don't take it seriously. Some posted "Ako mismo ay pogi". But you could actually post anything, but of course make it a sensible one. Simple things could count.
