Ako Mismo

I haven't posted anything substantial about Chris lately. I still have lots to share regarding past articles about him that I have. But since I want to come back on blogging about him, I'll go and share his latest advocacy for the AKO MISMO movement.

When I saw the commercial (which was tipped by my mom), I wanted to shriek out of excitement (but my dad was there too, so behave) since he has a new TVC! And it shows other big personalities from different fields. I told my mom "ibang level na talaga siya!". And I would definitely have a problem trying to reach him now.

But we shouldn't fret, we could take part on this movement too. Just go to www.akomismo.org and register! I thought it was someting to do with the future elections, but it is somthing all of us could take part in. Register and show your commitment to our nation, just like Chris!

The funny thing is, some people don't take it seriously. Some posted "Ako mismo ay pogi". But you could actually post anything, but of course make it a sensible one. Simple things could count.

AKO MISMO...ishashare ko ito!

Erica shared the video link of the commercial itself:

And here is our favorite version:

Siguro naman di na ako naghahallucinate noh!

Sa isa na namang pagkakataon...I believe...100% that the guy (Andre Endique) in this commercial has similarities with Chris Tiu!!! It's not as if they're twins, but they do have similarities. Di ba? You think I'm still suffering from delusions? Hehe! kaso I strongly believe they're alike. Well, at least i become happy everytime I see this commercial.

Next time siguro, we'll see Chris advertising Coke too? Hehe!

Made them smaller. Just click on the pic to see the whole version of it. Hehe!

I love these pics! Thanks so much to my friend Maylene for lending me the November 2008 ish of S Magazine.

Sorry the sides of other pics were blurred...because I can't force my scanner to get all...I don't want to destroy the mag. Oh well...you'll get to understand it anyway.

Isn't he fab wearing that formal suit? ^_^

Chris on CANDY!

From another buried treasure of mine. This was on Candy's September 2003 issue and by that time Chris was still a rookie in the UAAP. He was definitely a shoo-in in the ON-COURT CUTIES list. Don't you just love what they said about him? Sigh! They even placed a cute pic of him while he was contemplating on something. Or maybe sleeping? LOL! Hihi!

Shopping!!!!

Chris went shopping for PINK magazine's July 2004 ish...it seems even before Adidas was his best friend when it comes to clothes! Simple, but cool!!! He would look good in anything he tries to wear anyway. Hihi!

Do they look alike?

This is Chris...

This is Tae-yang of the South Korean group "Big Bang"

Tae-yang's bad boy image

I seriously thought Tae-yang was the bad boy version of Chris. You may not see the exact similarities but there are really angles that show they look alike somehow. I liked Tae-yang because of his similarity with Chris (but at first I hated him coz...well I just hated the bad boy look...haha! But now I luv it!) Tell me if I'm just blind/delusional or what. Hihi!

I seriously think Key of another S. Korean group named "SHINee" looks like Chris too! He's like the younger version of Chris. Although I can't find the perfect pic. But when I see him...I know the similarity is there.

Key of SHINee

Or maybe I'm watching/listening to too much Kpop already. Hihi!

The Young Achiever

Chris, 18 yrs old back then, was included in Meg's list of Young Achievers last March 2004. Even if his family doesn't own Meg, he'll still be in the list no matter what because it's no doubt that a lot of people recognized his great personality even before he became the big star he is today.

I actually cried when someone borrowed and lost my first copy of this mag because it was one of my most prized possesions (because of Chris' words and his cute pics in this mag). Luckily, she replaced it with a newer copy. Hihi! His answers in this issue are truly inspirational. When I get problems at work, I try to look back on his words, and it really helps me a lot! Thanks Chris!

4 Boys, 2 Girls and a Pizza

This is my most fave article ever!!! Well, because it features Chris, TY and even my most fave archer Mac Cardona!!!!! And Yo's presence in the interview gave out a fun atmosphere too. I envy the 2 girls who interviewed all of them.

Chris' answers made me melt...every fan would feel the same too. Hihi! That's why I have read it several times already. ^_^

Chris and TY Tang

The best friends...and I love both of them! So nice to know that the two top players of the Green Archers and Blue Eagles were bestfriends way way back before the rivalry ended their partnership as teammates in basketball. But even during a heated game between the two schools, I still noticed the two of them exchanging greetings on the court. And when they start to play ball (especially when they defend each other)...that's the time they forget that they are friends, but only for a while. Hihi!

I've been wanting to do something that features the both of them. Perhaps a website or something like this blog...but I think I won't be able to do that anymore. Huhu! I even dreamed of interviewing both of them...sigh!

Chris Tiu: TOP OF THE CLASS

Chris Tiu was featured in the Sunday Inquirer Magazine last December 16, 2007 (my birthday...haha!!!! Birthday gift! LOL!) along with other top personalities from ADMU's John Gokongwei School of Management. The article featured Chris and his Chinkee Chickens business. I have yet to taste it! Hope Chris sets it up in other places too. Hihi!

He was featured here not as a basketball star but a top student in the field of business management. He's a guy with so many choices and he uses them wisely. Kudos to him! A lot of people should look up to him...especially the guys! ^_^
